SMS Beginning Band Calendar 2010-2011

Students should bring instruments to the band room in the morning on every day that they have band. They must show up in class every band day their Yamaha Advantage book and their instruments

INSTRUMENT DISPLAY NIGHT (starts 5pm) and BEGINNING BAND PARENTS ORIENTATION MEETING (starts 5:30pm).....Thursday 8/26

6th Grade Beginning Band Schedule

6th graders will have band every other day, so each week will be either MWF OR TuTh. For example, woodwinds(WW) will have class on MWF the first week, so week #2 will be TuTh. You will be able to use the schedule below to keep track. NOTE: On minimum days due to inservice or parent conferences, students should still bring instruments.

(Woodwinds) WW = Saxophones, Flutes, and Clarinets (Brass and Percussion) B&P = All Brass instruments plus Percussion
