Warrior Band Uniforms 2007CLEANING: The $10 cleaning fee you paid is to help pay for cleaning the uniforms NEXT summer, after you turn uniforms in dirty the night of the KNOTTS trip. You will also have to pay to have the uniform cleaned at least once during the school year. Kleeners on North Chester will be providing discount coupons that will be good in December. Everyone should plan on taking his/her uniform to be cleaned in December after the last marching event.
- To help keep uniforms clean, do not eat or drink while wearing jackets
- Collar liners should be taken off and washed regularly at home, probably after each event. DO NOT WEAR UNIFORM WITHOUT THE COLLAR LINER!
- To prevent uniform damage, no rough housing or horseplay while in uniform. Also watch wear you sit!
ACCESSORIES: In addition to shoes and gloves that you buy through us, all students must also have black dress socks. No ankle socks! Black socks must be worn with the uniform at all times.
- ONLY band shoes may be worn with the uniform. Write your name inside your band shoes with a permanent marker. Shoes can NEVER be inside the uniform bag.
- Plain T-shirts must be worn under the jacket and under the suspenders at all times. (NO Tank tops). Band shirts are usually worn after the performance, sometimes with the band pants. Band shirts are not usually worn under the uniform jacket.
- Uniform suspenders must be worn up over shoulders at all times.
- Gloves are worn for marching only, never for indoors. WASH THEM AFTER EACH PERFORMANCE. Gloves purchased before the day of the event cost $3. Five Dollars will be charged for gloves on the day of the event! PLAN AHEAD!
- Hair must be worn UP while in uniform. This means no bangs in your eyes and no hair touching uniform collar or down the outside back of the uniform. Plan accordingly.
- NO dangling ear rings may be worn with the uniform.
OTHER INFO: Any alterations done to the uniforms must be temporary and easily removed. No cutting of material is allowed. CAUTION: a hot iron can scorch or melt the material
